We had a 1957 VW Bus like this in the early 60's. Dad used it for a work rig, but for one week every summer it was our camper for the four of us. I remember going up and down the Oregon Coast, the Redwoods in Northern California and being woke up in the middle of the night by a Bear going through the garbage about 30 feet from us.
