Power Outage in Elkhart

Have any of you heard about subject outage?

I've been trying to help my dealer get warranty/factory advice, parts, authorization for the repair/rebuild of a bad slide on my new but "never left the lot" Wildcat. Sales rep. wrote my dealer "Most of Elkhart had a power outage today and most all office personnel were sent home", etc., etc.

I was just wondering if this is a good reason for extending my problem beyond its current 3 weeks.

The fr corp offices lost power due to a squirrel in a transformer.
