I haven't seen anything about my 2016 F150 remote being water proof (resistant) but last weekend I got dumped into the lake fully clothed, remote still working fine, couldn't see any water in it.
What’s the “Rest of the story?” How did you end up in a lake fully clothed?
My sister was driving my boat and was dropping me off at the dock to get the truck. She was going to pass the starboard side of the swim platform next to the dock and I was going to jump off but she missed. She turned around and was coasting in with the port side so I was changing sides when she accelerated and in I went.
