Reunion Memories

There are truly all kinds of Reunions and I'm not asking about Family or drama that hunts your very soul.

This is fun REUNIONS, you can not stop talking about, and why?

Former Military REUNIONS. RV REUNIONS, OLD FRIENDS REUNIONS, Please share the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY as best as you can recall, What about it made so great? When and WHERE do you recall it took place? and why do you want to go back to that point in time?

For us I would say the best is the FROG International Rally in Goshen, it was hard to convince the wife to go at first but now it is the highlight of our summer trip as we will usually only see certain folks there, I will add that we have been able to meet up with a few members on the road in our travels some planned and some totally by surprise so that is also good for us.

Two summers ago my wife and I got together with college friends from the 1975-76 era. We guys were friends that lived on the same dorm floor at Northwestern Michigan College and participated in several intramural sport activities. We kept in touch over the years attending each other’s weddings and even had a reunion about 15 years after our days at NMC. Two years ago we lost one of our friends to a tragic car accident on his way home from work. We decided it was a good opportunity to get together and celebrate Donald’s life and rekindle old friendships. Most brought their wives and a couple brought their grown children. We had a great time. We’re spread out now across the country but we managed to get a few out of staters there and had a great time reminiscing and celebrating our friendship and our departed friends life. Funny how we have changed little over these 40+ years.
Cheers Donald K. You will be remembered fondly.
