RV Flag poles.

Looking for ideas for a reasonably priced extension type flag pole.
I am looking for a flag pole that can used with under the tire mounts as I would like to have the flag towards the from of the MH and not at the rear as I normally back in to a site. My Bud has one from uncommon USA but it's $339. Not sure I want to break the bank.
There are others more seasonably priced but how good are they? Fiberglass withstanding a god and and 15-20 feet? Two flags?

Any comments that would direct me to the right pole would be grateful!

Check out Ebay. I bought one about a year ago and it was a returned item. Brand new with all the warra;ntee included. I forget the name, but it was one of the better known brands and it has been fine.

Check on Amazon. I found a Camco model on sale a couple years ago... Ultra heavy duty, 24 foot tall, heavy duty under tire or tung jack bracket. It was on sale for 99 dollars, and worth twice that.

My stepdaughter gave me a pole and flags a few years ago. On paper it’s great. But it’s lightweight and not sturdy. The sections twist to lock and unlock which sounds great but friction isn’t always reliable. Since I’m big on taking flags in during bad weather and at night I added a pulley at the top as a halyard. Once set up it looks great. But the whole thing isn’t strong and even the halyard has drawbacks. I’d get one that has pins for the sections and has a factory-installed halyard if they even come that way.
I’m at work right now and don’t know the brand offhand. I’ll look at it when I can and let you know what it is.
I highly recommend getting something sturdy. Click image for larger version

This picture shows the halyard and the bendiness of the pole pretty well. Click image for larger version

Looks like mine. The brand is Tailgator (or Tailgater). I used to fly both US and a Navy flag from it but it does bend in the wind and sometimes drops a section or two. Got annoyed from fixing it every day last camp and took it down a day early from leaving. The bent wire that holds the flags is a PITA mounting and removing flags, probably going to add cheap carabiners on there.

Yes it’s an asymmetric spinnaker. I had it custom made made by fxsails in Charleston, SC. fxsails.com

I use flag clips that I used to use on my sailboat. Those clips that came with the pole were horrible.

Asymmetric spinnaker: that’s a new one on me… but, then again, I sold my boat long ago.

This is my Camco Flagpole with the rig parked next to the house. The base is under the tongue jack. Yeah, it bends in the wind, but it has not broken yet. Three inches across at the base. Very Heavy Duty.

I like my flagpole buddy. I had it for 7 years and it's still in great shape.
