RV Mattresses

My 2011 XLR 35 X 12 came with a pillow top mattress. It is the most uncomfortable mattress. Even with a 3 inch foam topper, that I have ever slept upon! I have seen other forum members talk about the pros and cons of Sleep Number replacements. Does anyone know the difference between a Premier and Deluxe models? Does anyone have a better idea than a Sleep Number?

The DW and I both have back problems. We took the tempurpedic mattress (leave the box spring in storage) off our queen bed (from the house sale). It was very close to the original size, that came in the 5r and we sleep great with it.

Serta Trump mattress in ours and I can sleep late til 8 or 9 and I normally get up at 4 or 5AM every day. I'm thinking about putting it in the house and putting our $1500 mattress in the RV but I was told to buy one and put it in the house. LOL

Our mattress in our first trailer was maybe 4 inches thick, when new. After a few years, we had had it. We ended up buying a memory foam topper from Costco. It was an entirely new, and enjoyable experience. I understand you also bought a topper. Maybe compare yours to the ones Costco sells. I have heard good and bad about Sleep number beds, but I have never slept on one. Good luck. Jerry.

Ours came with a Serta Trump as well (think that is part of the Diamond upgrade )

We added to that these two items:
Amazon.com: LUCID 3 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper 3-Year Warranty - Queen: Home & Kitchen

And for cool/cold camping we top the topper with this
http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Heated Mattress Cover with dual controls is DA BOMB! If it is below 50 outside, you will LOVE this! We set it on High about 2 hours before bed and climb in to toasty warm covers, sheets and bed, then turn it off (6 Actual will sometimes on a cold night leave it on low on her side, but for me even that is too much after body heat takes over )

We had a sleep number in our house and didn't like it, paid a lot of money to fall in the gap between the 2 air chambers when you rolled over to the middle. We went to a memory foam mattress but it has its drawbacks, very hot in summer but with right sheets it's bearable.

Prepare thyself for MUCH happiness from DW LOL!

I got one for the house as well, installed it behind her back on one of those coldernhell nights (it was @ 18 deg outside, and she was NOT looking forward to crawling into a chilly bed)

When she got into the toasty warm bed and sheets I was a instant hero!!
