Seen on public roads.
Must be a full moon in St. Louis, because the vehicular weirdoes are coming out.
I photographed the truck/trailer last night going home, and the 1/4 body dually van thing this morning. Kinda wondering what I will see tonight..

The second one is obvious, but I'm missing what's quirky about the first...

My thoughts would be the tiny tires.

I see contractors use trailers like the first one a lot. Is it the small tires ??

I was most concerned about that 3rd picture, until I realized it was your rig in your signature.

Big tires on empty truck, tiny tires on trailer loaded to the gills.

Not that heavy of a load on the trailer, just bulky.

Wow, I have healthier wheels on a garden tractor. The van came out today since it was dry. Gotta be bummer in the rain.

Trailers hauling lawn equipment ~~ SC those, boat trailers, and contractor trailers do not have to be registered. Some of those trailers even have brake lights or any trailer lights. Never know when they are turning or stopping. Even more fun playing 'dodge 'em' after dark.

Those thing are normal for around here You should see the really odd things ...............
Haven't seen it recently but at one time farmers around here would pick up an old school bus cut the main body off behind the driver and make a flat bed truck out of it for hauling hay. But back then a used school bus cost about $200 at auction.

Yep saw a couple of those yesterday sitting along the road For Sale one was a 60's Chevy pickup bed. Very common but I'm not that far from you in Virginia.

The tobacco farmers around here have started doing that for the last couple of years, except they cut the sides at the bottom of the windows so it's more of a "pick-up" .
Heck of a lot better than the trailers going down the road at 25 mph.

Your second photo reminded somewhat of what one my neighbor’s truck looked like when he was converting his very old Class C into a flatbed truck.
