SNOW'S HERE in NY STATE

Roads in Northern an Western Ny are closed except for emergency vehicles only and in some areas the plows have been taken off the road.

In Western Ny the thruway is closed. High wind blowing so high visibility is zero in most places.

Although I did it myself when I was younger and lived in Upstate NY,I now wonder what benefit is gained by digging your car out of snow when the snow is over the top of the car? In addition, the roads/streets are impassable with all that unplowed snow on them,so even if you got your car cleared, where would you go?

I've been on the road for the last 2 weeks got a day off finally no more driving for work for this week, somebody else can do it.
Was in Auburn last Thursday and got caught in the crap, Albany Sunday got lucky and made it back with only a dusting. Many other uneventful trips last week to Albany.

Unless I have to go to work it will wait , cleaning out the driveway when the wind is blowing like it is would be useless.
