I understand that you have to advertise to pay the bills and I do check some of them out. Most of the ads here are slanted understandably toward RVing. But a couple of ads lately made me laugh a little bit such as the Chef Boyardee ads. When I was 10 they were the greatest but fast forward a few years and YUK! Does this forum meet the demographic needs for Beefaroni sales?
OK I admit I am a picky eater so I apologize to you Boyardee fans but this morning while perusing the forum when the Thor Motor Coach ad came up I was somewhat surprised. Did I miss something here because I thought that Thor and FR were RV arch rivals?
Isn't this like a Ford F-150 ad appearing on a Chevy Silverado forum?

The adds are not the same for every person. The adds are based on what the person has viewed on there computer and then google customizes it to that user. Right now I am seeing french adds because a went to a french Canadian site by accident (we have buttons at the top of our pages to view in french or English) .

I understand that some of the ads are based upon previous searches because I recently had to replace my garage door opener and I have been seeing opener ads.
I guess what is odd is I sure did not check out the chef or Thor. In any case at least I got a laugh out of it.

Or skip the adds with AdBlockPlus, I get no adds on most sites including this one.
