The force awakens!

I'm so exited, I am about to shake to pieces.

Yep, I am I HUGE Star Wars fan. I've been counting down the days till today for over 2 years. I already have my ticket for the first showing tonight. My brother-in-law, my son and a few friends went the theater at 2:00am this morning to get first in line. They have been on 3 St. Louis tv stations morning news today. I'm that dedicated, but there is a limit ya know...

GO EMPIRE!

The local Cinemark put theirs on sale online awhile back. I bought three that first day for the first showing tonite at 7PM. I am a Star Wars fan and so is #1 son.

I was 10 when the first one came out and boy it was an experience. I had never seen anything like it back then.

Our Cinemark 17 theater has been adding more screens as they have sold out. I checked yesterday and it is going to be playing on 8 out of the 17 screens there tonite. 6 of the showings are sold out.

Can't wait, as this is going to be a piece of Americana history, being the biggest opening ever.

EDIT: We are taking one of my sons friends with us (the 3rd ticket). My son just called from school wanting to know if his friend is riding home with him. He said that the kids up there are all talking about it.

No worries, my lips are sealed!

I remember seeing the first Stars Wars when I was a little girl and the impression it made on me - all I could remember was the Cantina scene when one of the aliens has their arm sliced off! I was horrified and intrigued all at the same time, lol! I love just about all things sci-fi And yes, I'm watching this at an IMAX theater too!

The Cantina Band music is my tone on my cellphone for when I get a text message.

The free Zedge app on google has all kind of neat ringtones, music, etc. for android phones.

LOL...Yeah you might not get the rude and interrupting people at the house.

More than once I have had to tell someone to be quiet. That's 90% of the reason I hardly ever go to the theater...plus i worked at one in the 80's-90's and it kinda messed it up for me.

LOL the theater close to our house sells a yearly "Subscription" for popcorn. Pay a one time fee of $20 and you can bring the plastic bucket back as many times as you like for 1 year

This is a movie to be seen in a theater, not in your home!

We are big movie fans and never watch DVDs, unless we're camping.
We much prefer the theater experience.
Course we go to the early showings.
