Quit my state jab back on Sept. 18th and have been taking care of things around the homestead plus got in a camping trip to northern Arizona. Now I am starting my job at the Cotton Gin on Monday driving a module truck hauling the cotton modules into the gin for ginning. Gonna be a busy couple months or so, long hours and a six day week.

I just spoke with one of the guys who retired a few years ago, he is working 6 days a week @11 hours a day.
That is more than he was doing BEFORE he retired....
He said he was bored and wanted extra cash for next camping season...
Drive safe and good luck...

I sure in the heck did not retire to start another job. If that is the case you should have never retired. Later RJD
I told him he retired for nothing at that rate, but he is one of those guys who never slows down.
6' plus and about 150 pounds in his boots....

Hi, my name is Bob and I'm a workaholic. Working is more of a hobby for me than a real job. This cotton hauling job is just a seasonal thing while the harvest lasts. There are a lot retirees with RV's who trek to the Red River Valley of North Dakota every fall for the sugar beet harvest there and will work it while it lasts. Just a lot of people who love the comradery and hustle. I have a nest egg I am adding to for a trip to Alaska next summer.
