Every once in awhile I bump into a wannabe denizen of Sunnyvale Trailer Park here on the forum. Well, here is the thread FOR YOU! If you've not seen the show Trailer Park Boys yet (on Netflix), chances are you would not enjoy this conversation, or understand the content, so you should probably click out of this thread. My contribution is that just today WA State DOT thinks they caught a Samsquanch walking in front of their traffic camera.
Please keep your pet raykins inside your trailers so that they will not get ate.

So this show angers me. It's beyond stupid. I started watching it when my wife was out of town on a cruise back in early December and now I'm up to season 9 or 10 or so.
And it's just stupid. There's an occasional funny line.
But's mostly stupid.
And yet, I keep watching.

Do you think the writers called him SAM-squanch knowing that later on in the seasons they would use the actual Sam character as a samsquanch?

This show is just like the Trailer Park we had a seasonal at! The Characters are the same and driving golf carts impaired was common, they banned them.
It is real life and great Canadian Humour.
Please make sure all words are spelt in Canadian eh?

I actually hadnt seen the show in years. I was never a Netflix subscriber, but just recently became one. As a citizen of the United States of "Amernica", I look forward to watching it all over again. I think all "Amernicans" should give these quirky folks a watch, lol

Haha - I bought my coach in another state, so I had to fly there to meet my buddy to do a pre-purchase inspection. Figured I needed to grab a DVD to be able to test the A/V system . . . Yup, Trailer Park Boys!! Popped it in to make sure everything worked and then left it on while we did the rest of the inspection . . . I thought the salesman was going to have a heart attack!!

LOL, the age of my guy, he DEFINITELY would have! Heck, I thought he would have a heart attack when I said, "be right back," and came back with mechanics creeper, clipboard, flashlight, outlet tester, and camcorder! Towards the end of the 4 hours, he started getting antsy and said, "these usually take about 2 hours". Guess he "usually" didn't have Jim Leahy, Trailer Park Supervisor there!

I may just have to pull this one out next time I see a post about putting gasoline in a diesel tank!
Ricky: [about their illegal gas station] Unleaded, blue container. Supreme, red container. Diesel in the green. Okay, are we clear here, guys?
Cory: Yeah, but how can you tell which is the Supreme?
Ricky: What, are you stupid? You f***in' taste it. Unleaded tastes a little tangy. Supreme is kinda sour, and diesel tastes pretty good.

Yes Sad, I am a Radio Station Manager in Canada. The airwaves were full of RUSH for a week and even Sirus Deep Tracks went all RUSH .
