The time the Costco membership guy called my bluff and now this is my picture…

You know you never ever retake these, so I’ll have this for the next 1,000 years.

Love it!

Reminds me of my latest military ID. My wife HATES when I grow a mustache, so I grew the worst mustache I could manage, trimmed it all thin and creepy-like (though within military regs), right after my promotion, so I needed a new ID card, which will have my creepy mustache in all its glory for the next several years. I whip it out every chance I get when I'm around my wife. #relationshipgoals

My daughter went through a goth phase. She got her milititary dependent ID card in goth makeup once. When she came out of the phase she asked if she could get a new ID card because she hated the picture and couldn't believe that she ever wanted to look that way. I said, "Not until it expires! They don't reissue ID cards just because you don't like the way you looked in the picture." And they usually show you the picture first and ask if it is OK, so she obviously said yes at the time.

Some good commiserating stories! GravelRider, your spousal spite makes me laugh and reminds me of a good buddy of mine.
