Yup. I used to sell the stuff the attach sheathing to semi trailers that wanted a smooth appearance with no rivits! It is amazing. At a demo I saw one time, they had a similar example like in the video except using a 16lb sledge hammer instead if the bowling ball. The 3m would even stand directly behind the lapped metal sheets (with a very critical part right where the hammer would hit him if the tape separates) & would drop the swinging hammer with little to no damage. It is crazy stuff! But yes, also extremely expensive if I recall.
