Things you should NOT take on a camping trip.
Has this survey been done? I'm sitting in Lake D'abonne state park this memorial weekend and DW is telling me a list of things we should have brought. I asked, "did you bring anything you shouldn't have?". Blank stare for a few seconds, then we began to name things we should never bring.
I'll start with this one. Feel free to add to the list.
Mother in law.
(That didn't go over well with DW.)

DH said Fathers In Law (BOTH of ours)!
Dear Lord I'd rather burn this puppy DOWN first! They're as different as high noon and midnight, and each one is as insanity inducing as the other one.
Another item to never bring;
Little Blue Pills
(and when I read this to DH he said "who needs those?"
Third item, if you have young kids:
NEVER bring their drum set!

We made that mistake with my mom. She got pancake batter all over the tt. I mean ceilings, walls, floor, carpet, sofa and dinette. she didn't know to vent the shake and pour pancake mix so she just kept shaking it until it exploded. DH banned her from coming ever again.

1. Relatives/Friends who are clumsy or tend to break things.
To make a 'Hyper Lite' trailer, nothing is industrial strength.
2. Anyone who doesn't want to go camping.
3. Dogs who suffer separation anxiety; yap, yap, yap, yap...

Why do so many folks use letters instead of words? I finally have figured out DW=wife ... apparently. Feel like I'm back in the Army, initials for everything.

There is a list somewhere on the forum DW Dear Wife, D can be the other too DH Dear Husband, DS Dear Son etc. TV can be confusing as it can be what you watch or tow vehicle.
Sometimes wish left the phones & or computer home they seem to follow us sometimes.
Somethings we bring we are glad that we do not have to use....... First aid kit etc.

That's a great one KDHfan. Won't bring laptop along camping but will only bring tablet (therefore no access to work - too tempting otherwise)

Amen brother. We listened to that all weekend at lake darboone state park we were at the exit so every one climbed the hill at our spot. My wife told me once "sounds like they're bush hogging the campground." We were inside. I looked out and said no, just a dodge climbing the hill.

A weak, underpowered, fuel guzzling gas burner!
Work stuff, even just my laptop. I end up working at some point.
Anyone that will complain about anything related to camping. I don't care if the toilet flushes funny, be glad you don't have to walk to the bathhouse.

LOL...or listening to a gasser climb the hill at 4500 rpm which sounds like a blender with rocks in it!

I take a LTE wireless hotspot, DW and I have Blackberry's running Vonage VOIP app, 4g iPad as well as the Macbook DW and Dell Windows 8 Tablet ME. I do remain connected to work and trade days out of required, nicer by the lake or in the forest than office. Well connected with the 7 kids around the world. Surprisingly even in the middle of the forest we get 4G and LTE in many. Now figuring out Goshen Data without roaming is on the list.

LOL The whine of the twin turbos on the Ecoboost is loud under load but sounds like a jet instead .
