X2...the web based interface has seemingly been more stable than the iPad app though - TURBS & Weezer is this the case for you as well?

We have both been very busy! And that is a good thing.

Took our first camping trip to the Finger Lakes Rally with the Dialyser and it went great.

Getting the camper ready for the Goshen Rally and should be ready to go by push off time.

Looking forward to seeing our extended family again,
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers,
Lou and Laura

Camper will be "wheels up" on Sunday morning as we are taking the "slow trip" out there. (Provided of course her supplies are delivered to FROG headquarters sometime this week). Only possible fly in the ointment.

Final preps going on with the camper for Goshen.
Limoncello and wine loaded.
When we let the dog out she runs to the camper.

Waiting on confirmation from FROG Bob that her supplies were delivered.
Baxter was supposed to deliver today; Bob waited till 7PM and Baxter was a No Show.

Hope they delivered it to Receiving and did not blow off the delivery.
We will find out tomorrow. We have a few days to recover if they messed up the delivery.

Lou

Good luck and have fun in Goshen. Maybe we can hook up in Plant City, FL for some more strawberry shortcake and ice cream this winter.

Give Ms. Laura a big hug!

Now that's funny! Got an open bottle of Mead in the camper's fridge.
Bet it's gone before you get here though. Plenty of Limoncello!

I'm bringing some of my limoncello too. Maybe we will run across each other at Goshen so we can sample each others to see how mine compares to someone who knows how it is supposed to be made right.

Been a while since I last posted an update, but I think this will be a "final" pending something that has to do with a transplant.

Our MANY friends at the FROG group and here on the Forum (a particular thanks to the Phat Phrogs and the invite to their pond), allowed us to enjoy our stay at the FR rally in August. The cycler behaved itself and Laura was in great spirits (except for the early to bed part).

Then home for a week and then off via US Airways/American airlines to Oregon for a family reunion. Pre-shipped all supplies and solutions to Oregon so we only needed to bring the cycler.

THAT was a problem as it turned out. Seems the "Airline Carry On Approved" shipping case was designed for the airlines 30 years ago and would not fit down the aisle or "wheels in" the overhead bin.

The Cycler could not be "gate checked" (and picked up at the door) because they would only check it through to the baggage claim area. That is not permitted with the cycler as it is very delicate.

SO, we needed to board with the "handicapped and those needing special assistance" folks in order to make sure we had an overhead, space as well as not kill anybody with it on my head trying to get down the aisle. Even though we paid for section 1 seating priority, the fact that we were allowed extra time to board resulted in many snide remarks from the passengers as we boarded after the wheel chair folks.

While we were "first on" we were also "last off" for the same reason. I did not hear a word from those folks as we let them off first before we tried to get the cycler down and carry it off (again) on my head.

Did I mention I also had a backpack with all our computers and carry on as well? I felt like a pack mule and it was a LONG aircraft!

Home now and working on getting the camper ready for our last two "long weekend" camping trips.

We get her transplant evaluation first week of October and hopefully she will be found a good candidate for transplant. If so we will be nailed to the proverbial "camping floor" because we will need to stay within a 2 hour response time of the University of Philadelphia.

Reading is about as far west as we can camp and the Jersey Shore is about as far east without taking the risk of missing a good viable kidney.

Time will tell.

Thanks Lou for the report. We'll keep you and Laura in our prayers and hope for a good transplant report. Need anything, just call or email. We can be there within a few hours. Don't forget Sept. 12

I wear it all the time, thanks again. Frankie will also wear her anniversary present "Rearden Metal" bracelet also. Have to figure out how to put a sticker on her junker without her seeing it. Got one on the truck and camper.
