Laura is staying an extra day (will be released tomorrow). No problems, just that her surgery was so late at night (into the next day), just put her a day behind. She is in good spirits.
The mother daughter pair in Oklahoma is doing great as well and the mother's (Sofia's) kidney is working great and her Creatine levels are already normal.

This is what makes the RVing lifestyle so fabulous! Here I am with tears in my eyes reading about all of this and I have never met any of these people! To Lou and Laura: May God continue to watch over both of you and everyone involved in this journey. I look forward to meeting both of you in the future!

Staples came out today and everyone is very pleased with her (and Sofia's) progress to date. In fact she is well ahead of schedule. They stopped her anti-fungal preventative early and cleared her for limited interaction with "non-family", but still no large groups till September when she goes off the antibiotics and antivirals.
She is walking more and feeling terrific. Will be closing this thread soon as she is well on her way to getting cleared for camping next year.
We are both looking forward to breaking in a new Berk this spring.

This is FANTASTIC news - we will really miss seeing you at Goshen - look forward to seeing you next year!!
So Laura will be cleared to go camping in September? If so, you could always take a trip south and come to BamaGanza in October
