Twilight Zone, Alien Abduction, or Something Else?

We arrived in Southampton England on Sep 16th, a day early for our British Isles cruise. After getting situated in our hotel which was near the cruise port I decided to walk to the nearby Westgate Ruins. As I walked down one of the streets near the ruins I came across these two signs. I understood that the bottom sign indicated the road narrows but the sign above it caught me off guard.

A closer look at that top sign.

Now for the strange event that took place that day, my smartphone not only changed to an incorrect time, it also changed the date to a month and a half into the future. Had I walked into the Twilight Zone?

Most likely they have some type of advanced tech. there. By advancing themselves 1 1/2 months into the future, they can see how bad the rest of the world screwed up, thus being able to avoid any type of screwup in their country.
And, if your 1 1/2 months ahead of the rest of us, how did the elections turn out?
In Va., what kind of weather am I looking at for the next month?
Is mama gonna let me buy the new stuff I want for our Lexi?
Tonight is mama gonna say yes, or "I have a headache"

And, if your 1 1/2 months ahead of the rest of us, how did the elections turn out? NOT GOOD.

In Va., what kind of weather am I looking at for the next month? Continued fall weather with temperatures dropping and a chance of precipitation.

Is mama gonna let me buy the new stuff I want for our Lexi? Absolutely not, and begging isn't going to help either. However all is not lost, sexual favors to her might help with your cause.

I hope this helps.

You mean I should tell her that I don't have a headache?

Oakman, did your smartphone ever re-set itself to the correct date and/or time once you got away from that area?

Oh, BTW, the bottom sign does not mean "road narrows". It means "portal into the Twilight Zone" ahead. And if you look further, that sign down the block means "if you enter here, you are digging your own grave".

No it didn't correct the date and time. I had to go looking for the setting for automatic update time and date and turn that off. I had to manually set the phone back to the correct date and time.

I wondered about that digging sign.
