Types Of Shaving Razors And Camping ?

Not sure how long it's been on the market now but I saw Amazon is selling a 7 blade razor...Wow I guess the more the better I remember when 2 blades was a big deal Also seems that single blades are making a come back...And electric also seem's popular now a days as well. So many choices to choose from now.

When I camp I tend to shave less frequently every couple of days or maybe not at all if it's a weekend and when I do It's usually with a 2-3 blade disposable I'm not brand loyal...Does anyone stick to a regular routine or just shave when they see the need if at all ?

When camped I don't shave until the whiskers bug me or the trip is over. Then disposable razor 2 blade.

Haven't shaved for over forty years, just an occasional trim.

I only shave when I have time to get the knife properly honed.

Braun Electric pretty much every day. Once I retire, I might rethink that!

Backpacking and tent camping - no shaving or once a week trim the neck so it looks like I am growing a beard. In the RV I normally shave daily just like home. Salt and pepper beard looks good, now pure gray makes me look OLD.

I got one of the Harry's free kits.

Been buying his replacement razors thru the mail a while. Clean them well and they last months.

Better than the Gilettes I used before.

Course being retired shaving is at a minimum. Working on my first poney tale.

Electric corded/cordless every day. I've used Norelco, Remington and Sears. Can get more than 2 weeks of shaving without recharging.

I am still a backpacker/bicycle touring camper at heart...I use lightweight disposable Dollar General single-blade or twin blade razors. Cheap, effective, lightweight, and never need a charge.
