Unexpected Signs

I enjoying hiking and do it often, but once in a while I'll come across a sign on my hikes that gives me pause.

I really believe I would be checking out of there Bob. Where are you with signs like that? (lol). Saw some signs similar to those at Gulf State Park over in Alabama. Particular about the Gators!!

You’re close on your guess with the Gators and Cottonmouths picture Wayne, it was taken on a trail along the Dog River south of Mobile, AL.

The second picture (poisonous snakes) was taken at a large rest stop in South Dakota. The short paved trail lead to an overlook.

When we are on the road I always have to take a walk at the rest stops to get rid of the stiffness in my bones caused by sitting in the truck for long periods. When we arrive at rest stops and I start walking to loosen my joints, Joyce says I remind her of a breakfast cereal…SNAP, CRACKLE, AND POP!

We have quite a few deer crossing signs around here. I often wondered how the deer knew where to cross?

Here's someone with a solution to the problems that are all too often caused by deer crossings:

Herk, I assume that this is the translation of your second sign.

Welcome back Heck- I am ready to give you my report regarding the way some forum members have been behaving here in your absence. I did warn them several times, but to no avail.

Probably my favorite construction sign "hack" that I've actually seen in person. I pulled u-turned twice and pulled over to take pics.

This was when the crazy guy said the world was ending (and then said his math was wrong and it would end later).

There were signs like this one along the entire trail. I guess if you get hurt and need help you can call 911 and tell them precisely where you are. It does give you a sense of security.
