What Smart Phone are you using?

I have had iPhone 4and for the last year I have had an iPhone 5 and I have loved them very user friendly and great to use mabey in an other couple years I'll get the next latest and greatest iPhone

I love my 6+. Know that I have large hands, but it never feels "too big". And the extra screen size makes using it SOOO much more enjoyable, especially when using a Web browser. I pick up my old iPhone5 and it feels so tiny now...

It's already been said, but asking which brand of phone is best will get you the same kind of passionate fan answers about which brand of truck is best, or which brand of camper is best, or which brand of whatever else you can think of is best...

I'm always an early adopter, so many moons ago when I went from bag phone to flip phone to my 1st smartphone... it was blackberry. Had 2 of those, then 2 androids, now onto iphone. I've also gone the same steps in tablet, had a blackberry playbook while I had a blackberry phone, had an android tablet while on android, and now have an ipad that I'm on iphone.

They're all just as good as one another, it's pure preference.

But know this... once you're into apple, it's hard to get out. Switch brands in an android, say go from an HTC to a samsung, or whatever... and all your apps and contacts and addresses move easily. But, once you're in apple, they do not make it easy or cost effective to get back out.

So, take that as you wish. If you think you're going to stick with 1 particular brand, it really doesn't matter. If you want to have the choice to jump around, android is the ticket.

Not sure I want to argue this point, but wouldn't the reverse also be true? Wouldn't it be just as difficult to go from Android to Apple???

I agree it is very much a preference thing. but I also agree with what someone else said above - the learning curve is less steep on an Apple phone. And once you have one, you can count on the EXACT same experience on their tablet. As for me, I was never an Apple fan until I bought my first iPod Touch. At that point, buying an iPhone just made sense. Then I wanted a different experience, so I sold my iPhone 4 and bought a Galaxy S3. NEVER liked it. SO I went back to Apple. As always, YMMV.

You're right, it can be just as tough to switch from apple to an android... my point is that in android, you can switch to a samsung, or htc, or motorola, or sony... or i can keep going on... it's an easy switch between brands that all run android. It is easy to switch from an apple to an apple, but they're all made by apple, and they're all controlled and priced by apple... that's what really grinds my gears. I don't like big brother controlling my choices.

Very happy with my S5, from day one.
Lollipop just came down on it and after as bit of tweaking (ok, a cache dump, factory reset and another cache dump) it has been even more stellar.

Love BlackBerry phones! I only switched some years ago only because of the small screen being the size of a postage stamp. BlackBerry is right for my type of usage. Now that the screen is larger I hope to get one next time I replace my phone.
