Where & How do you store your lawn chairs?

Where and how do you store your lawn chairs? Inside or outside? They take up so much room. We store ours in the side compartment along with the satellite dish and extra table, bbq, etc.

I was thinking about the same thing this morning. I carry 3 sets of chairs. 2 recliners, 2 folding chairs with side tables and 2 folding bag chairs. They take up so much space but I like to have them with us just in case. I store all mine in the front compartment of the fiver. I think the new camper has a much smaller compartment so I have no idea what I'm going to do.

We have 4 folding rockers, 2 chairs in bags, a collapsing table and a low table I made out of a worn out lawn chair.

Only 2 of us and we need 6 chairs!

Chair storage

I used some lumber and metal "L" brackets to make crossbars to stow our folding chairs. They live in the starboard side pass through storage compartment. Gets them up and out of the way.
Here is a photo.

It depends on where we go. Two bag chairs pretty much live in the side compartment and if we plan to be sitting around the campground much we put the recliners on top of the bed.

2 bag chairs in the cabinets of outside kitchen(sometimes 4 just depends on who is with us on the trip), and 2 zero gravity type chairs in back of truck or next to dinette.

the bag chairs fit nice in the outside kitchen cabinets, as we dont travel with goods in there normally...i just wish i had a more permanant solution for the folding zero gravity type chairs....though about a bumper solution, and moving the spare to under the tongue??

Used to camp with folding chairs in a bag that could be easily stored in front outside compartment... no problem.

But the more we camped the more DW wanted large recliner & rocking chairs.... so now we have no choice but to store them either in the truck bed or on top of the TT bed when traveling. Same for the extra folding table... more of a hassel but nice to have once we get set up at CG.

P.S. DW didn't really give me choice... the new chairs just showed up !

Our folding chairs are stored in the walk in closet in the bedroom and our bag chairs in the under bed storage compartment.

We keep in the pass through compartment. All 12 of them! Didn't realize we had 12 until I unpacked the MH to have the hydraulic hoses replaced. While unpacking found 6 beach chairs, 4 folding chairs with trays, 2 bagged chairs, 2 portable picnic chairs, 2 plastic folding tables and 1 aluminum table. All for 5 people. There is a lot of storage in a Georgetown! We kept our MH at a storage place and just kept just adding stuff not realizing what we had till I emptied it . Now that we keep it at home I can just load the stuff we need for our trip.

I think that stuff breeds when we are away. When we last traded TTs, we had 6 bag chairs, 4 anti-gravity chairs and 12 coffee cups. It's just the DW and me camping most of the time.

One of the absolutely true maxims about camping, and one that we all learn sooner or later ---- you can never have too many camping chairs !!! (I must have at least half a dozen stored somewhere in the basement)
