Winter in the Tetons

For you who wonder what the Tetons look like in the winter....
The park is open, but at Moose junction entrance the road is only open to Taggert Lake Trailhead and basically for cross-country skiers.
South entrance is open to the village.

Since the temps were around NEGATIVE 20 below while taking these photos, I was able to capture some frozen fog. Ran into it on the way over to the Tetons at the bottom of Teton pass (ID side). Drive through it an it puts ice on the windows.

Spent two days working in Tetonia back in 2001 in the early spring, what a view at sunrise.

Just so you know I now have about 4-4-1/2 inches of new powder, started about 8:30 this morning and is still coming down.

No camping. Just drove over the pass for some BBQ at Moe's in Jackson and had some friends visiting from NC and they wanted to take some photos of the mountains.
