John, Forest River did it at the factory when I ordered the Wildcat. I would more than happy to send you a bunch of pictures of the spare tire mount. The only thing I dont like about it up front is if I ever wanted to install those braces that criss-cross between the front landing gear. Because of the location of the tire they (stablizers) wouldn't fit. Other than that I love it being up and beneath the front of the trailer.
