05-12-2015 04:04 AM220ChapExciting! Hope your delivery goes well. I think we're finally gonna get out again this weekend. Boat still in shop (grrr).
I use Photobucket to store photos that I want to use on the internet. I think there are other sites that work as well.
Best of luck!! -

We pick up our trailer on Friday May 22nd. Yeah!
I have asked by several members about posting photos. Your look great. Any tricks for posting photos? I will try to post some when we get back next weekend. Thanks for your posts and advice!

Thanks for the update. This waiting for a trailer stinks! I love hearing about your adventures it keeps me excited for our big day in May. I can't wait to see how our Mini Lite compares to your Micro Lite. All of the pictures on You Tube show the 2015 Mini Lite like yours with out the under sofa storage only small doors in the front of the trailer. Let us know when you take her out for the first overnight. Pictures please, you are keeping me ready for our new trailer.

03-20-2015 07:23 PM220ChapNot a thing. Didn't discuss with dealer. We don't plan on dry camping with it so it wasn't a priority to find out. I assume one can buy RV-ready solar panels with corresponding plug.
Incidentally, DW and I headed down to camper on Sunday for more stocking, familiarization, etc. Figure to measure the exterior storage openings for storage bins. Same for interior cabinets. Also, FWIW, last time down I ran a small ceramic space heater along with the furnace heat to save propane--no blown breaker. Also had all lights on and radio. -

What do you know about the solar wiring plug on the new Micro Lites? When you picked up yours did the dealer say anything about using solar panels with this input jack? -
03-03-2015 08:57 PM220ChapAnother 8-12 inches of snow on tap for tomorrow night. Thankful we've got it inside for this round. Figure our next step is to make a trip to the camper to stock supplies and equipment; lake, camper about 1 1/2 hr away. Ordered some Tear-Aid tape hoping to repair my slide topper canvas.

Indoor storage... WOW! That's super. I do know that we will get a cover and during the winter she will not be out in the snow an ice with the slide open.
I got the frame size from Forrest River at 5" I will visit our local March RV show and measure the hitch height. I am going with the Andersen WD hitch. They have several bracket sizes and drop/rise or both 4" as well as 8" It will be interesting to see what will be the final sizes that will work. I have never used a weight distribution hitch. I will be interested to see how it works out.
I did just buy the Andersen Rapid Jack. After having a tire issue on our boat trailer I really like the look of the rapid jack ... I hope it works as advertised. Using the vans jack worked but jacking up the trailer was not easy.
I like the look of the Andersen leveling system as well. Damn, this trailer is costing money and it's not even here yet.

02-26-2015 07:13 PM220ChapHere in KY we got hit with 12" snow (3" is significant here), then sub freezing temps for 2 weeks. Threw my business (package delivery) for a loop, just now catching up.
Camper is still sitting outdoors at the dealership in TN. Have a large indoor storage unit lined up but haven't gotten her in there yet. Driving me crazy. Maybe this Sat or Mon.
Congrats on your new purchase! Wise move to order a fresh unit. When you know what you want, that's a good way to go; and I agree about not getting a 'frozen unit' off the lot! Anxious to see pics of yours; I think I like the graphics better on the Mini Lite over the Micro Lite.
These last two weeks have me daydreaming about boating and camping in the sun and shade.
Hope the time passes quickly for you. I've not forgotten your request for measurements.
Best,
Kevin
