I used to fill the system with the RV antifreeze. I haven't done that for years. Ideally on my last trip of the year I pull the drain plug on the hot water heater, open all the faucets and the two drain valves under the camper. There will be one for the hot water and one for the cold water. Also I disconect the shower hose from the faucet and open the shower head valve as well. After driving back home, most if not all of the water has been purged from the system. I then blow the water system out with compressed air to make sure. Add a couple cups of rv antifreeze to all the traps on the sinks and tub and pour a cup or so in the toilet bowl. I have been doing it this way for a long time and never had an issue. It also eliminates having to get all the pink stuff flushed out of the system the next year before you use it. Let me know if you have any questions but that is about it in a nutshell!
