Hey Tooter, I'm still working out the kinks in towing this beast. But as far as your F150, its a half ton truck, according to Rockwood, our models were made to be towed with a half ton truck. My JGC doesn't qualify as a half ton so I have to take additional steps to proved a good safe tow.

I have modified the Jeep. The 4.7L V8 has approx. 50 more horsepower & 30 more lbs. torque. Torque is the key in pulling a trailer. My vehicle does fine in pulling the trailer so far. We've only taken one trip. But will post more from our next trip next week.

I have a 2618W on order, pick it up in three weeks. I also got the diamond pkg. I am new to this web site but not a new rv camper. Is your tow jeep underpowered? I plan on towing with a F150, 5.4 V8. Both of these trailers wt about the same. We do a lot of camping in state parks and 32ft scares me. We have a 27ft jayco now and going to a 30ft. Let me know about your camper.
