Sorry, I just saw your comment now. I have no problem with the reception. The transmitter is mounted in the overhead cabinet above the rear window, I bought it from GPS Central in Alberta... I've bought a number of Garmin products from them since they often have the best delivered-price I can find.

Hi David was wondering how the reception was from your trailer to gps in truck? how far forward did you install transmitter? did you buy this Garmin model in Canada? Amazon has a Garmin Nuvi 2798LMT wondered how it compares to yours?
