Just noticed this message. I haven't done it yet, but from what I've read other doing was to run the power cable aft through the air duct to the back wall. If you remove that 45 degree ceiling panel, it'll expose wiring that runs over to the aft closet. Run the wires over to that close and down the inside of the closet to the basement storage. Hope that helps and sorry for the LONG response time. Never got a notification of the message.

    Hi,
Saw your post about adding a second A/C. You mentioned adding an extension cord to the unit. I want to do the same thing, but have wondered about routing the power. Is there room in the ceiling to run the power? I have not looked yet, as we are still on the road. Just wondering if you have figured out how to run the power from the bedroom ceiling to the power bay?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
