    Art,

We really like our 2014 Microlight. Ordered in January of 2013; recieved in April 2013. We ordered the unit with a power awning and gas stove.

We fixed the shower problem, added a screen door bar, added an outside TV, added a second battery, made ottormans for the couch, added a 100 watt and a 1000 watt inverters, added a TV antenna booster, and a WIFI booster and antenna. We are in the process of installing a "rearview mirror" camera on the back of the TT. We've camped about 30 nights last year. We were at St. George Island in Florida.

As regards the Frontier, it did the job, but I would prefer a little more margin. We did not drop down a gear all too often, and our average was 10mpg.

I thought about an Ford F150 with EcoBoost. Might handle the load better but get same mpg.

Nissan Titan might be too much truck and no improvement in mpg.

Let me know what you decide. And any questions about the 21FBRS - just ask.

    Have fun!

    Hi Denny and Suni,
My name is Art and I have a question for you. I have a 2014 21 FBRS I just bought used. My tow vehicle at the moment is a 2000 Nissan Xterra. It is fine for traveling to local campgrounds here in the flats of Southern NJ but I am looking to upgrade this spring as I am planning some trips to the mountains of PA and also Western NC. I see you have the Frontier which I am considering for my new tow vehicle. You had mentioned in a post you have pulled from Illinois to Florida through the Smoky's with no problem. The Frontier worked out OK on the mountain pulls? Have you done any mods to your tow vehicle such as transmission cooler, intake or exhaust modifications or rear spring modifications? Do you think this vehicle would be good for long term hauling of the 21 FBRS? Thank you in advance for your reply. Happy camping! Art...
