I appreciate the information and that was a consideration for me so I wasn't cutting through the ceiling. I had looked at some railing for mounting and better over all support but I may stick with two solar suitcases.

Can I ask, what wood you used to mount the equipment in the front storage and how you mounted it to the interior? I've looked and the support there and it looks like either super thin wood or MDF which I haven't worked with since I made a subwoofer cabinet about 15 years ago and would be concerned with it deteriorating with the additional screws in it.

Thanks again for the info, this is really helpful.

Hey, sorry to bother you but I noticed your post in the modification post started by trailerdude. With your upgraded electrical I was wondering if you're using solar or not? If so, are you roof mounted for your panels? I am just getting start and have a Rockwood 2104s which is a really close floor plan to your camper and I'm trying to get info on where people are putting the solar glad for trailers like ours. I appreciate any information that you can provide and if you already have a post, I thumbed through your previous posts but didn't see anything for solar, I'd be glad of a link to jump into something you already posted.

    Thanks,
    Chip
