The filter is in a cabinet on the floor, next to the furnace (which is under the stove). If you look out the rear window in the kitchen, under the counter there is a normal cabinet door, under that is a cabinet door with 2 hinges on one side an another (3rd) hinge on the other. The filter is in there along with the water pump and water heater bypass.

One of my first mods was to take off that third hinge and replace it with a magnetic catch. BTW there is no filter in the holder. The filter that was found in the sink must be installed by you. The canister is no doubt filled with water, you'll need a brownie pan or some such to catch water in when you remove the filter canister.

I have a 2010 8280SS trailer, do you know where the water filter is? I have looked all over the trailer for it. The dealer left a cartridge in a drawer which makes us wonder if it is a spare or should it go in the holder. Another member told me to contact you as we have the same trailer. During our orientation, the dealer told us it might be in the storage compartment underneath the bedroom, and the inside bulkhead would have to come down to get at it, especially if they want us to winterize the trailer. I am hoping for a easier location. Thanks in advance
