Didn't think so at the time but have now gotten it changed and it steers alot better. After replacing the bearing they discovered my lights are acting up again so they ordered another tipm for it.Hopefully the new one they put on just had a defect and the new one will cure it.

Was that related to your steering issue?

Went to Dodge dealer for oil change Monday, told them I had a noise I thought was a bad bearing, told me right front wheel bearing was bad. They didn't have one in stock so have to go back again.I was surprised they even said it was bad as there is 58000 on it .I figured they would say it was good to get past the warranty time.

I forgot to mention that a symptom(I believe from the steering column)was when idling and in park turn the wheel slightly back and forth and there was a slight clunking in the steering column.

Wasn't really the recall that bothered me as tie rods aren't that much, but after the warranty is up, if I have to replace axels and steering columns, that could get expensive.

I noticed that when you went over the joints on a bridge or overpass,if they were the least bit rough, the truck would jump a little.I thought it was probably out of line a little. Then I got the recall notice,so I went to the dealer and they replaced the tie rods and discovered the other problems.

    Hey rugged.
I made a mistake. ......... I thought your charger was automatic and it appears that it is NOT.
An automatic charger will turn on and off as needed yours will not.
I know the battery tender brand chargers are about 50.00 but worth the price.
I use them on my snowmobiles.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Again i am sorry for my mistake.
    Ron
