Could be you need to set the low voltage level that triggers the AGS to start a little higher. You may have it set at 12v but it may need to be at say 12.3. You could also have an issue with one (or more) of your house batteries. If you have a bad cell the battery voltage at the terminals could show 12v, but you will not have enough amperage to start the generator. It sounds like your chassis battery is OK since it started the truck engine. It would be great to meet you guys and I will share what I can. I am not the consummate expert on everything electrical in these rigs but I manage to keep mine functioning. I'm usually out of town on business during the week but around on weekends.
RV Randy, If this is not the right place, please let me know: we have a 2016 DX3. Everything works beautifully, except one important thing. I have set up the AGS according to the xantrex support folks. It all worked great yesterday. Disabled Quiet time over night to test it. This morning batteries were so low, generator would not start and inverter was off. Had to run the engine long enough to charge the batteries so we could start the generator and had to re-enable the inverter. Any advice from this group?
Looks like we have identical DX3’s right down to the paint scheme. Ours, however, is a 2016. Our last RV was a 2007 and so we are newer to the upgraded features of a Dynamax such as aqua hot and the residential fridge. Wondering if we could get together sometime to learn more about the functionality of the power in the coach. The dealer we bought from wasn’t much help and we think it operates a little differently than our Alpine. we are in Commerce City, but know the Franktown area well. Thanks!
