I throw the breaker on my converter. That takes it out of the loop, which means my system is not longer charging when I am on my inverter system and improves my boon docking time upwards of 48 hours with out starting my Generator. Without isolating the system I am lucky if I can last 20 hours

What will keep the converter from trying to charge my battery bank when I hook up the inverter? Thanks for any help
