You cannot get to the fridge/freezer unless the slide is extended. I have put it out just a bit, got in the fridge & then brought it back in, although this is not recommended.

I can get into the bathroom without the slide being retracted but it is a tight fit & I have to go through sideways. My husband cannot. We put a toilet package down the toilet with about a gallon of water before we leave on our camping trip so it sloshes around in the black tank. I let it dissolve and then flush. Don't let it sit in the toilet very long or it will stain. I left it while I carried stuff from the house to the camper for about 20 minutes. Big mistake. Had to scrub with bleach to remove the purple ring. We were also told to use Dawn dishwashing liquid when washing dishes as it is good for the tanks.
