So you asked how I connect the fan to inveter/battery. It took some work but I installed a 120 volt outlet in the bed room. and ran the cable under the 5th wheel cellar. I then have a male plug on the cable. If on shore power I plug it in a outlet. If no shore power I plug it in the inverter that is connected to my spare battery. I have done this for several years and it works good for us.
