Hello

Just joined. I have been pop-uping for years with a Coleman 8' box. Looking to upgrading to a bigger PU may have it narrowed it down to a HW27KS or HW27SC. Still looking and researching but mainly have decided with a Forest River. Mainly a Fleetwood HW27KS or HW27SC. Just working out the towing with a 02 Trailblazer.

We really would like to get a Shamrock 213SS or Model 19 but know it is out of our Trailblazer tow rating.

Looking foward to posting and reading from other Forest Rivers RVer's.

i think you mean Rockwood, not Fleetwood.
and a TB can tow a 19, if it has the factory tow package.

without knowing more about your TB, like year, engine size, factory tow package and rear end ratio, can't say whether or not it can tow a hybrid, instead of a high-wall popup.

I have a 2005 Trailblazer (with the 4.3 liter engine) and recently bought a Coachmen Catalina 19RD. I believe it weighs in at around 4,200 pounds. Anyway, it was well under the 5,000 or so my Trailblazer was rated at. I got the weight distributing hitch etc as well.

The Trailblazer would pull the trailer... maxed out at 60mph on flat Indiana highways though... Just an FYI. I ended up getting a used Silverado with a 5.3 liter engine and it pulls it just fine now.

BTW, I love the Catalina!

Thanks sorry meant Flagstaff I already posted about towing with Trail blazer and the HWalls. With specs of our TV 02 Trailblazer.

I really never consider a Model 19 with the Trailblazer. The 21ss would be the golden ring for us but could do the Model 19 but marked them off pretty quick because of the TV and unable to upgrade both the TV and trailer. So we settled for the HW which we also really like.

We will be towing in the Blue Ridge mountains and felt it would be a little to much for the 21ss or model 19.
