Spending a few days at Fort Boonesboro state park. One of the nicest Kentucky State Park that we have stayed at. We are staying at one of the full hookup sites. Pleanty of space between sites. Some of the cleanest wash houses Iíve seen. Would recommend.

Thatís a great campground. Have you been to the fort yet?

I agree. We camped there about five years ago and enjoyed our stay. As I recall, the bath house at My Old Kentucky Home State Park was a bit cleaner, but things can change for the better or worse over time.

I consider this as one of my "home" campgrounds. It's close by, well run and on a very historic site. There is access to the Ky River if you like to paddle. The bathhouses were refurbished over the winter with all new "fixtures".
