English Hamburger Muffins

Nothing like a good hamburger to go with that really cold beer. Next time, instead of using regular hamburger buns, use English Muffins. They give the burger a different taste, and the meat patty fits the muffin better. Another plus is that since the muffins are smaller, they have a few less calories to worry about.

Also, if available, and legal to pick up, use a bunch of pine cones instead of charcoal to cook with. Just don't use new pine cones as they might have too much pine sap on them. 50-100 pine cones will burn with even heat for quite a while. :o

Using EM in place of buns sounds like a great idea. I sometimes fork split an EM and then toast them and butter them and slather on some picante sauce.

I'm going to try your suggestion.

Toast those EMs, put some Italian seasoning on them, some pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, put in the microwave for 1 minute, and you got yourself a mini pizza.

Yes they are very good in many different ways. We like the Thomas brand most.

No, they're not the same. English muffins are unheard of in England! Crumpets are a different recipe altogether and are cooked differently.
