hope the pic shows now. I call it a complicated issue because it took 3 weeks to get it resolved. A competent tech fixed it with a new relay. Bonsoir.

No running lights...

Finally hope prevailed: Mobile Mechanic of Hilton Head (thx Paul) found the problem: a faulty relay (see photo).
