We bought one egg crate style topper from Target. It helped but not enough so we stopped at Walmart and bought another. We think it Is more comfortable than the high dollar memory foam at home.

Sorry I have a travel trailer and doesn't connect to the propane tanks as mine are on the outside front of trailer. Some RV Dealers might have them.

Check the air in your tow vehicle tires. You probably need more with the trailer attached. I inflate my truck tires with in a few pounds of maximum pressure when towing.

I would suggest planning on weekend travel through this area. On my April trip to Fort Pickens travel was better going south on Saturday than coming pack north on a Thursday.
