I would reach out to Rockwood. They may be willing for help with the repair at this is a known issue. They were good to me; however it was under warranty at the time.

New from Ohio

I just bought a used 2006 Surveyor SV291. It is being delivered on Monday. This will be our first camper. This forum seems like a great place to learn, as I know very little about campers.
