no. seems like it is seized up. Was going try spraying some penetrating oil on stem into valve try free it up. Not sure if can do w. Propane. Like "acyeteline" gas

When i push in the pilot light knob the valve will not turn clockwise. it is a older stove would it be not good idea to spray penetrating oil on valve to try free it up it most probally has not been...
