My experience as a licensed General Contractor for 40 years is that precharged lines are very problematic and I don’t know a single HVAC contractor who uses them. Good luck.

You can also use a plumbing pipe cutter. While it was made for copper, they cut EMT and plastic just fine.

Wears out the “blade” a little faster, but they are cheap to replace.
