Yeah, I tapped off of 12v and ground on the amplifier board, wired it thru a switch and to a 2.1/5.5mm dc jack. Cut off the lighter plug and soldered on a matching dc plug on the inverter.

We just remove them when we find em. Oddest place we found one was in the check valve for our black tank flush. Caused it to leak (fresh water) inside our bathroom cabinets.
