Pole Support vs. Cable Support bunks

Has anyone tried to convert an older pole support bed system into a cable support system?
I'd like to look into it for my 2010 FR Surveyor 234T.
Any thoughts?

My wife and I just purchased an new 2010 Surveyor SP234T. Looking forward to getting it out on the road. TV is 2007 Saturn Outlook. Hope it can handle it!
