Did they say why? When I had my motorcycle, I would spray down the engine, frame, wheels, etc. with Simple Green, let sit a few mins and rinse and it looked like new. Never noticed an issue with it.

I used 4" for everything on the RV but had to double up on the front and rear end cap seams. So this time I will go with 6" on the front and rear caps and 4" for the skylights and other areas.
