We bought out 2008 Georgetown in October of 2007. A 350DS model with 2 slides and a bunk house. Put about 25000 miles on it and had very few problems with the unit.

Yes the cable jack is in the bay with the power cord in my Berkshire XL 40BH.
Remember to turn off the 12 volt TV antenna amp. It is in the entertainment center. Good luck with your new unit.
