My r.pod 179 has been on some mighty rough roads in Maine and out west. It handles well, nothing has come loose and no problems.

No it isn't. Take it from the guy who has one. The 5000# rating for the Highlander is way over rated -- you can assume only about 75% of that which would be 3,750# at best.

Things have changed in last few years. Campgrounds here are now frequently FULL. With a rig the size of yours you'll definitely want reservations. Plan for a few lay-over days -- you'll like it here...
